Protection

Most businesses recognise the importance of providing first class employee benefits. It is all about ensuring that you get the best out of your workforce by:

  • Ensuring that they are well looked after while they work for you;
  • Offering them long-term reasons to give you loyalty and maximum effort; and
  • Helping them to provide for their families, should anything go wrong in their lives.

But this does not mean that you should be paying more than you need to, in order to provide necessary protection.

As a highly experienced Employee Benefits consultancy, we know the potential impact on employees’ families of the death or long-term illness of the principal breadwinner. That is why we have put together a range of schemes that provide cost-effective cover for employers that can save them as much as 17% off their existing premiums – more in some cases.

And a saving of this magnitude means that you can consider offering additional benefits – or simply reduce your overheads.

We already operate a large number of group ‘death in service’ and group ‘income replacement’ insurance schemes on behalf of our clients. These range from schemes with five members upwards.

For each scheme, a thorough broking exercise is completed with quotations requested from the following specialist insurers:

    • Alico Life
    • Aviva
    • BUPA
    • Canada Life
    • Friends Provident
    • Legal & General
    • Lutine
    • Sagicor
    • Sterling Life
    • UNUM

Once a scheme is in place, each client is given a named account manager at Wentworth whose role is to administer the scheme, assist with any underwriting arrangements, manage any claims and ensure annual renewals are completed swiftly and accurately.

We re-broke schemes at the end of their rate guarantee period (typically two years) to ensure that the scheme continues to operate on the most efficient terms in the market.
